The correct storage
The best way to store your descaling tablets is to leave them in the original carton in a dry place. Unpack the individual tablets only immediately before use, because the descaling tablets unfold their full effect in the water when freshly unpacked.
The dose makes the difference
You can deal with normal limescale deposits with just one of our culiclean descaling tablets, dissolved in 500 ml of water. Stubborn limescale deposits require two or more tablets per half liter of water. Should any limescale deposits remain, simply repeat the descaling process. Over time, you will develop the right feeling for how many tablets you need to deal with the limescale deposits in your household.

Get it done in no time
You will be surprised how quickly descaling can be done! In the case of hot water appliances (kettles), leave the descaling solution to work for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse several times with fresh water and your kettle is ready for use again. When descaling your coffee maker, simply allow the descaling solution to run through completely once. After that, repeated several times with fresh water each time, your coffee maker will be ready to brew you aromatic coffee again. Be sure to follow the instructions in the operating manual of your coffee machine.
The right rhythm
Now imagine that you really descale your affected equipment on a regular basis. What does that mean? Depending on the water hardness, every 1 to 3 months. In case of very hard water (over 26°dH), it is recommended to do it every 3 to 4 weeks. Once you start using it regularly, you will see that the individual descaling processes become easier because the limescale no longer has a chance to stick stubbornly to the surface.
